Class A / Tanker Driver - Los Angeles/Santa Ana
Location: Santa Ana
Reports to: Operations Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Full-time Position
Job Summary:
- Over 3 years experience in the Environmental Industry.
- Able to pass a pre-employment physical, respirator fit-test and drug-screen.
- Able to demonstrate an understanding of safe work practices involving chemicals, radiological and bioactive agents.
- Able to lift 40 pounds.
- 40 hr HAZWOPR and HM-181 trained.
- Must attend and maintain all required training necessary to perform duties.
- Has Class A Commercial driver's license with Air Brake, Doubles, Tanks and Haz-Mat endorsements.

Customer Service Representative - Los Angeles / Santa Ana
Location: Santa Ana
Reports to: Operations Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Full-time Position
Job Summary:
- Take Customer service request orders.
- Create and complete work order job packets.
- Verify customer pricing with each job packet.
- Review daily manifests for signatures and quantities.
- Request/Issue Purchase Orders for vendors.
- Assist drivers/customers with questions/requests.
- Assist with various reports for clients.
- Answer phones.
- Administrative multi-tasking, i.e. filing, copying, letters, excel spreadsheets.
- Coordinate Emergency Response assistant when needed.
- Coordinate and schedule bins/tankers.
- Assist sales department.
- Order necessary supplies for office, PPE, labeling, drums, etc.
- Coordinate on-site trailers with swap-outs, delivery, etc.
- Attend weekly sales meetings, interface with sales staff and Operations Manager on Operations-Sales dynamic.
- Ability to communicate effectively both in written and verbal formats.
- Ability to maintain company Operational standards, and communicate them to effective to employees.

- 40 hr HAZWOPER trained.
- Must attend and maintain all required training necessary to perform duties.
- Must possess a thorough working knowledge of all regulations that pertain to the performance of their job duties (i.e. 29 CFR, 40 CFR, 49 CFR, Title 22 CCR…etc.)
- Must have a working knowledge of Haz waste disposal and treatment methods, TDS Outlets, workings of haz-waste generators.
- Must be able to follow instructions and carry out work as directed by supervisor.

- Must be able to independently identify profile and direct waste streams to disposal facilities in accordance with all regulations and facility acceptance criteria.

- Has a 4 year college degree with a science major or equivalent industry experience.
- Able to pass a pre-employment physical, respirator fit-test and drug-screen.
- Able to demonstrate an understanding of safe work practices involving chemicals, radiological and bioactive agents.
- 40 hr HAZWOPER trained.
- Must attend and maintain all required training necessary to perform duties.
- Must possess a thorough working knowledge of all regulations that pertain to the performance of their job duties (i.e. 29 CFR, 40 CFR, 49 CFR, Title 22 CCR…etc.)
- Must have a working knowledge of Haz waste disposal and treatment methods, TDS Outlets, workings of haz-waste generators.
- Must be able to follow instructions and carry out work as directed by supervisor.
- Must be able to work independently to perform and complete daily assigned tasks.
- Must possess a valid class “B” CDL with Haz-mat, tanker and air brake endorsements.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee must frequently sit, walk, and stand. The employee must frequently carry, lift, pull or push 40 pounds or more. The employee is constantly required to reach, bend, kneel, squat, climb, and stoop. The employee must constantly drive a large truck and/or move heavy equipment.
- Must be able to independently identify profile and direct waste streams to disposal facilities in accordance with all regulations and facility acceptance criteria.
- Meet sales quota assignments.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.

- Maintain Sales Tracking system.
- Making Service and Sales calls servicing and selling ACT products and services.
- Weekly sales meetings with each branch; required to have one physical meeting with each branch per month.
- Completing documentation and assisting the customer with required paperwork.
- Safely operate trucks requiring a Commercial license (CDL).
- Handling routine customer problems and serve as interface between company and customer.
- Working closely with manager and salesperson to improve route efficiency and expand existing customer relationships.
- Ensuring environmental compliance at every stop.
- Operating vehicles in accordance with OSHA and DOT requirements as well as local, state and other federal requirements.
- Keep abreast of products, market conditions and competitive activities.
- Must be self motivated and have the ability to work independently to achieve budget goals.
